Salman is back with ‘DaBangg’, the third part to go on floors tomorrow

Actor Salman Khan recently took to social media to announce the much-awaited third instalment to the popular ‘Dabangg’ franchise. The film is all set to go on floor on April 1 at the superstar’s birthplace Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Salman took to Twitter to share the news of him landing at Indore with brother and producer Arbaaz Khan, where they would begin shooting for the film. Salman posted a video to announce the news. Salman also shared Indore is the birthplace for both the brothers, because of which they have an emotional connection with the place. They will also be shooting in Mandleshwar and Maheshwar where their grandfather was posted when he was in the police force.

Dabangg 3 is the third instalment of the Dabangg series that started in 2010. The film will be helmed by Prabhu Deva, who kickstarted the golden phase of Salman Khan’s career with Wanted in 2009.

Deva recently told Deccan Chronicle, “I was in Mumbai last week to finalise the details. I can finally reveal that I am directing Dabangg 3 for Salman and Arbaaz Khan. We’ve been closely associated for the longest time. I share a warm friendship with them. Who says no to them?”

The cast of the film will remain the same as the previous instalments. Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan will be seen reprising their previous roles, the music will be composed by Sajid-Wajid. The film scheduled to release in December 2019.

Salman Khan will be next seen in ‘Bharat’ starring alongside Katrina Kaif, all set to hit the screens on Eid 2019. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover.
