No! NaMo didn’t promote Congress’ ‘Ab hoga NYAY’ campaign

Date:

A picture of PM Modi, clicked after he cast his vote in Ahmedabad recently, is doing the rounds on social media.

What is interesting about the picture is that the PM is seen wearing a jacket with the opposition Congress’ election symbol and campaign slogan ‘अब होगा न्याय ’ on it.

The caption of the picture read: “#VoteNyayVoteCongress मेरा वोट काॅग्रेस को और आपका|”

The post could be found on different facebook groups

NewsMobile fact-checkers checked the above post and we found that it is FAKE.

When we put the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture on PM Narendra Modi’s twitter in which nothing was written on his jacket.

It can be seen in the above FAKE vs real comparison collage that ‘अब होगा न्याय ’ is superimposed using photoshop software.
