No! Sarfaraz did not bring a gun on the field; here’s the fact check!

A picture has surfaced on the Internet of Pakistan’s ODI captain Sarfraz Ahmed after Pakistan was knocked out of the 2019 World Cup. In the picture, he can be seen carrying a gun on the field.

The caption of the picture read- “वर्ल्डकप लेने का आखिरी रास्ता ”

FACT CHECK

When the fact check team at NewsMobile did a fact-check, we found out that the photo is photoshopped.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture by AFP in an article by NDTV dated January 30, 2019.

In the original picture, Sarfraz can be seen holding a bat and not a gun.

Hence the above information proves that the viral picture is photoshopped.
