Several incidents of a mobile explosion in the past have reported causing minor injuries, however, now they seem to become fatal.
A recent case of a mobile explosion has claimed the life of a 22-old-man in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district. The incident took place on Sunday night when the deceased, Kuna Pradhan, was asleep and had left his mobile on charging. However, the exact time of blast is yet to be ascertained.
Pradhan worked as a labourer for the construction of the Jagannath Temple in Paradip. As per reports, on Monday morning, other labourers saw smoke coming out of the victim’s room.

Subsequently, they checked his room and found him dead with his face and portions of body charred. On receiving information, police rushed to the site in the morning and recovered the body. Information such as the smartphone’s brand/model number still remains unknown.
