Delhi polls: Arvind Kejriwal files his nomination after waiting for more than 6 hours

Date:

After more than six hours of waiting, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal filed his nomination paper from New Delhi seat for the upcoming Assembly polls on Tuesday evening.

He was unable to file his nomination on Monday due to his roadshow.  “Waiting to file my nomination. My token no is 45. There are many people here to file nomination papers. Am so glad so many people participating in democracy,” Kejriwal had earlier said in a tweet.

Polling in all the 70 seats in Delhi will take place on February 8, and the results will be declared on February 11.
