In an alleged incident in the Delhi University’s Gargi college, a group of men molested students in the college fest ‘Reverie’ on February 6, according to college students.
They further alleged that they were locked in the washrooms, molested and catcalled along the way till the metro station.

Few students also took to Instagram to express their anguish at the incident and to voice their concerns over personal safety.
The students have planned a protest inside the college on Monday.
The Police said they have neither received a PCR call nor a formal complaint in the alleged case from either the students or the college management.
Students on the ”speakupgargi” page on Instagram said that the college union and the administration have not been able to protect the students and shared their unpleasant experiences.
Gargi is an all women’s college and is located in the south campus of the Delhi University.
The management has issued a statement saying that men were allowed into the college as it was the fest and it was pointed out that women students had a separate area and came out at their own risk.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau, annual crime report 2017, Delhi has been found to be the most unsafe city for women. In the last few months, the city has witnessed a deteriorating law and order situation.
