CT Ravi who is also the Sports Minister of the state said: “I met CM BS Yeddyurappa on Wednesday and discussed opening of fitness centres, golf courses, hotels and restaurants and sought his permission. Even temples and other places of worship may be permitted to reopen. However, a strict safety and health protocol will be issued by the State government and this will need to be strictly adhered to.

The protocol will be issued after the Union Government finalizes the guidelines to enforce Lockdown 4.0.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his last address to the nation, had said that Lockdown 4.0 will be different and will have new rules. The views of the State governments are being ascertained after which new guidelines will be issued.
