FACT CEHCK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above video and found that the claim attached to the video is FAKE.

We extracted the keyframes of the video and put them through Reverse Image Search. The search led us to several articles in Bangla which had featured the stills from the same video. These articles can be seen here and here.

According to these reports, the man in the video is Nurul Alam, a senior leader of Awami League, a political party in Bangladesh, who was thrashed by Juba League leader in Chakaria in Cox’s Bazar of Bangladesh.

Hence, the above information establishes that the video in question is NOT from India and it has no communal angle to it.
