A video has gone viral on social media in which one of the gym machines in a park can be seen moving without any external force being used, while a few cops are standing around it as onlookers. It has been widely shared as a ‘ghost move’ and it is claimed that the video was shot at Rohini’s Japanese Park in New Delhi.
The caption of the video read: “आप मानें या न मानें लेकिन भूतों ने व्यायाम करना शुरू कर दिया है और यह रोहिणी जापानी पार्क दिल्ली में कल रात लगभग 2 बजे हुआ था !! 😱
Believe it or not but Ghosts have started doing exercise and this happened at Rohini Japani park delhi around 2 Oclock last night !!”
News website, One India, also reported that the video is from Rohini.
The same video was shared by several users with the same claim which can be seen here, here, here and here.

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above video and found that the claims attached to the video are FAKE.
On putting the keyframes of the video through Reverse Image Search, we came across a tweet by Additional SP of Uttar Pradesh Police, Rahul Srivastav, in which he has tweeted a similar video of the same incident from a different angle. In the tweet he has mentioned that the video in question is from Jhansi.
“Jhansi got a tip off about an open gym being used by ghosts! Team laid seige & soon found t real ghosts-Some mischievous person made video of moving swing & shared on #socialmedia. Miscreants will b hosted in a ‘haunted’ lockup soon #NoHostForGhost,” he tweeted.

Taking a cue, we scanned through the official Twitter handle of Jhansi police, where through a series of tweets, they have rubbished the claims of ghostly activity.
Jhansi Police, in a tweet, clarified that the gym machine was in motion without human force due to extra greasing.

Putting our discoveries together, we can conclude that the claims attached to the video are FAKE as the video is from Jhansi, NOT from Delhi’s Rohini and the movement of the machine was NOT the act of a ghost.
