FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found it to be morphed.

On putting the above picture through a Reverse Image Search, we came across several posts that featured the same picture with different text on the placard.

Upon our research, we came across an article dated April 23, 2015, which featured the original picture.

As the caption mentioned that the real story was from Today.com, we tracked down the original article on there. It was dated September 11, 2014.

According to the article, the boy in the picture is Bowen Toomey, who was born without arms and legs, yet, manages to do everything independently.

In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that the picture in question has been manipulated using photo editing software. The original oh tire only has the letter ‘K’ written on it while the morphed one has ‘Like’ written on it.
