Recently, a video showing an army official helping a woman has surfaced on social media platforms with captions appreciating his effort. The video shows a woman fixing her car on a road at night when a man starts to misbehave with her. The video further shows the army man helping the woman fix her car.
A Facebook user shared the video with a caption, “Respect army.”

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video and found it to be misleading.
On clearly analyzing the video, we found a “Copyright by 3RD EYE” watermark on the video. On performing relevant keyword searches, we found the longer version of the video uploaded on 3RD EYE YouTube channel on February 16, 2022. “SALUTE TO THIS ARMY PERSON🙏🙏💖 | Alone Girl Saved by Army Man | Social Awareness Video By 3rd Eye,” reads the title of the video.
At the end of the video, one can clearly see a notice flashing on the screen that the “characters in the video are for educational and entertainment purposes.”
