IPL 2022: Punjab Kings To Clash With Kolkata Knight Riders

Mumbai: Punjab Kings are all set to face Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League at the Wankhede Stadium. 

After a confident 200+ score chase against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first game, Punjab Kings will be looking forward to continuing their winning streak. 

Middle-order batter Odean Smith played a crucial inning in the last game by scoring 25 runs off 8 balls. Openers like Shikhar Dhawan also look set in the lineup. 

Kolkata Knight Riders will play their 3rd game in this season’s IPL after losing the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore in a last-over thriller. 

Skipper Shreyas Iyer will look toward providing stability to the team’s batting order. Fans are anticipating big runs from star batsman Andre Russell as he showcased some big shots in his last encounter against RCB. 

The stats of the head-on rivalry between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders show that KKR has won 19 games out of 29 encounters in the previous editions of IPL.
