IPL 2022: Double-Header Day With First Clash Between CSK And SRH

Date:

Mumbai: Action-packed weekend will start with an afternoon match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League, to be played at the D.Y.Patil Stadium from 3:30.

Defending champions Chennai Super Kings are facing their worst start in the IPL history by losing the first three games. Newly-appointed skipper Ravindra Jadeja and the side will be looking forward to bouncing back and kickstarting their campaign by registering this win.

CSK is facing a huge challenge with the batting side who have consecutively failed to put runs on the board. However, CSK fans will be looking forward to some runs coming from the bat of their skipper and MS Dhoni in this game.

Skipper Kane Williamson has a massive task to get back on track after losing both the games in this year’s IPL. Williamson will have to lead the batting side as his performance is better against CSK in the previous editions of IPL. He has scored 338 runs against CSK in 10 matches over the years. His second-highest individual score in IPL is also against CSK.

Chennai Super Kings have a winning edge by winning 13 games out of 17 matches that they played against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous IPL editions.
