IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals Lock Horns For Playoffs Spot

Date:

Mumbai: As the playoff spots are up for grabs, Rajasthan Royals will take on Delhi Capitals in the ongoing Indian Premier League at the D.Y.Patil Stadium on Wednesday.

Both the teams will play one of the most crucial games today which will impact their position on the points table. Skipper Sanju Samson and his side will be looking to firm their spot and win the game.

Rajasthan Royals registered a narrow win in the last game against Punjab Kings. Purple cap holder Jos Butler will be looking to get his eye in and settle in the crucial game and score big.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin will be leading the attack as DY Patil’s pitch is tiring in the second half of the season and the track will be slower.

Delhi Capitals struggled to maintain consistency in terms of their performance throughout the tournament. Skipper Rishabh Pant and his side lost the last game against Chennai Super Kings.

Rishabh Pant is likely to go with the same batting order with Srikar Bharat and David Warner opening the innings. David Warner will be looking to get some runs for his side after his early dismissal in the last game.

Khaleel Ahmed and Anrich Nortje will be leading the bowling attack in today’s game.

Shemron Hetmyer is likely to miss today’s game as Karun Nair will be added back to the squad.
