According to reports, Sachin Pilot was on the way to the Congress headquarters situated in Akhbar Road when he was stopped by Delhi Police and was taken to a police van. Section 144 has been imposed by the police to tackle the situation.

Earlier, Congress leaders alleged a lathi charge by Delhi Police inside the Congress headquarters.

However, Sagar Preet Hooda, Special CP (Law and Order) rubbished the claims made by the Congress leaders and said that “Many people threw barricades at police near AICC office, so there might’ve been a scrimmage. But police didn’t go inside the AICC office & use the lathi charge. Police are not using any force. We will appeal to them to coordinate with us.”
