SC Transfers Pleas Challenging Agnipath Scheme To Delhi High Court

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday while hearing the pleas challenging the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme has transferred the case to the Delhi High Court.

The apex court directed the registrar general to transfer the petitions to the Delhi High Court.

According to reports, the court added that it will be ‘desirable and proper’ to hear the views of the Delhi High Court in the matter.

The reports further added that other cases in different high courts of Kerala, Punjab, Patna can be transferred to Delhi High Court or filed as an intervention application before the Delhi High Court.

Fresh cases challenging the scheme in the high court will also follow the same process as mentioned in the order.
