Arvind Kejriwal To Meet AAP MLAs Amid Horse Trading Claims

Date:

New Delhi: Amid the developments in the political scenario in wake of CBI raids on Manish Sisodia, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called for a special meeting with MLAs at this residence on Thursday.

The meeting is likely to be held at 11 am on Thursday and will discuss the recent political developments and the raids by the CBI and ED on party leaders.

Discussion regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) alleged bid to overthrow the AAP government in Delhi is likely to take place in tomorrow’s meeting.

Earlier today, a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee took place at CM’s residence. Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj accused BJP of allegedly offering ₹20 crores to AAP MLAs in order to “bring down” the Arvind Kejriwal-led government.

Earlier on Monday, Manish Sisodia alleged that he had received an offer by the Bharatiya Janata Party to split the AAP in what he claims was a quid pro quo as the CBI initiated a probe into Delhi’s now withdrawn excise policy.
