New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday unveiled the logo, theme, and website for India’s G20 Presidency which reflects the overarching message of the country to the world via a video conference event.

PM Modi while unveiling the theme and logo added that thousands of people across the country have given their valuable opinion and suggestion for the G20 theme and logo.
He added, “‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is the signature of India’s compassion for the world. Lotus portrays the cultural heritage & faith of India in bringing the world together.”
The logo includes the lotus, India’s national flower, and planet earth mixed with the vibrant colors of India’s national flag.
The symbol of the lotus in the G20 logo is a “representation of hope”. PM Modi added, “The world is going through the after-effects of a disruptive once-in-a-century pandemic, conflicts, and a lot of economic uncertainty.”
He said, “The symbol of the lotus in the G20 logo represents hope in these times. No matter how adverse the circumstances are, the lotus will bloom.”
Talking about the symbolism of the lotus he said “The seven petals on the lotus represent the seven continents of the globe and also the seven notes of music. G20 will bring the world together in harmony.”
He further added that “India has led the world with initiatives like One Sun, One World, and One Grid in conserving renewable energy. Our mantra of One Earth, One Family, One Future in G20 will pave a path for global welfare.”
