An image of the 2022 FIFA World Cup (Qatar) souvenir bag is widely shared on social media with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s picture on it.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, and found it to be morphed. 

Doing a simple Reverse Image Search, we found a report published by Arabic 21, that carried the original image on November 21, 2022. 

Another Arab media Al-In reported on November 21, 2022, that souvenirs such as fragrances and models of the BishCup held in Qatar are being given to spectators who came to watch the opening game.

The Sun has also published a report on the matter, mentioning that such souvenirs were given to spectators who attended the opening game at Al Bayt Stadium. Thus, it is clear that the viral image is edited.
