New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party is currently leading towards a groundbreaking win in Gujarat with a lead across 150 seats as per trends while Congress is likely to make inroads in Himachal Pradesh with trends of a lead in 37 seats on Thursday.
Here is the list of Key Candidates and their performances in both Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat:
- Bhupendra Patel (BJP) (Gujarat Chief Minister): He has secured a major win from the Ghatlodia constituency. He will further take oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat on 12th December.
- Alpesh Khodaji Thakor (BJP): He is currently leading from the Gandhinagar South seat while Congress’s Dr. Himanshu Patel is at number two with 42669 secured as of 12:22 PM.
- Vikramaditya Singh (Congress): From the Shimla Rural seat, Singh has secured the seat with 60.53% of votes. BJP’s Ravi Kumar Mehta stands at the second spot with 19,654 votes.
- Jairam Thakur (BJP) (Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister): He won from the Seraj seat after securing 47,490 votes.
- Rivaba Jadeja (BJP): She is leading from the Jamnagar North seat with 53.26% as of 12:30 PM. She is the wife of Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja who joined her hand during the campaign.
- Isudan Gadhvi (AAP): Aam Aadmi Party’s Chief Ministerial face is currently trailing from the Khambalia seat by 14,761 votes as BJP’s Ayar Mulubhai Hardasbhai Bera continues to lead.
- Kantilal Amrutiya (BJP): The candidate from the Morbi seat is currently leading with a total of 59,823 votes as per ECI trends. After the infamous Morbi bridge collapse tragedy, several videos of Amrutiya went viral where he was seen rescuing victims into the river.
