India To Take On Sri Lanka In Second T20I Match

Date:

Pune: After a thrilling encounter in the series opener, India will face Sri Lanka in the second T20I match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Thursday.

India managed to win the game by just two runs in the first game after a thrilling last-over match. However, the side has a lot to manage in terms of the opening batting order.

The first match summed up a dream game for debutant Shivam Mavi who bowled an exceptional spell picking up four wickets.

Speedster Umran Malik continued to amaze with his ability and raw pace vehicle bowling. He shattered Bumrah’s fastest bowl record in the first game.

However, Sri Lanka will be looking to even out the series after an exceptional team effort in the first game. Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana’s spell managed to clear the top order of the Indian side.
