The description of the video reads: At least 13 people, including 3 forest officials, were injured in a leopard attack in Assam’s Jorhat district in the last 24 hours. In a video that surfaced online, the leopard was seen jumping over barbed wire and attacking a van with people inside. The incident took place at the Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), and the big cat is believed to have come out of the forest surrounding the campus.
The same video was also shared by Mirror Now and India Today on December 27, 2022. Both reports mentioned that the incident is from Assam.
