Running a Reverse Image Search of the viral picture, we found a stock photo uploaded on Adobe Stock. The stock image looks very similar to the viral picture except for the clouds, indicating that they might have been added digitally to the picture.
The title of the image suggests that it shows the Portland headlight lighthouse at Port Williams Park of Cape Elizabeth of Maine, US.
Searching further, we came across an Instagram post showing the exact picture as the viral one published by a verified user, named Brent Shavnore, on January 19, 2023.
The user is United States Marine Corps veteran turned Audio Engineer/Photographer/ Videographer/Social Media Marketing consultant. He has posted many such digitally created pictures on his Instagram handle, and even posts tutorial videos on making digital storm art using Image-editing softwares like Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
