A video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi dining at a restaurant is widely shared on social media, claiming that he recently visited Old Delhi’s Jama Masjid. The post criticises Gandhi for consuming non-vegetarian food in August, which is considered the holy month of Sawan in the Hindu calendar.
The video is shared on Facebook with a caption: “राहुल गांधी पवित्र महीना सावन का दूसरा दिन मंगलवार के दिन जामा मस्जिद के “अल जवाहर मुस्लिम होटल ” में हलाल मटन चिकन बीफ आदि खाने पहुँचा !* *# दत्तात्रेय # ब्राह्मण # जनेऊधारी # खानपुत्र = य़ह सावरकर नहीं” (English translation: Rahul Gandhi went to Jama Masjid’s “Al Jawahar Muslim Hotel” to eat halal mutton, chicken, beef, etc., on Tuesday, the second day of the holy month of Sawan! # Dattatreya # Brahmin # Janeudhari # Khanputra = This is not Savarkar)
