New Delhi: The Election Commission of India announced the election schedule for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 on Saturday.
The 18th Lok Sabha polls will take place in seven phases from April 19, 2024, and the results will be announced on June 04, 2024.

- Second phase on 26th April
- Third phase on 7th May
- Fourth phase on 13th May
- Fifth phase on 20th May
- Sixth phase on 25th May
- Seventh phase on 1st June

- In 12 states the ratio of women voters is higher than men voters.
- 1.8 crore first-time voters and 19.47 crore voters between the age group of 20-29 years.
In 2019 polls, the BJP-led National Democratic (NDA) won a total of 303 seats, leaving the grand-old party behind at 52 seats.
