FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team traced the original, unedited ad from CEAT, shared on YouTube of the official CEAT Tyres channel, dated June 8, 2017, with a title: Savings at Supermarket – CEAT Fuelsmarrt Tyres.
The ad matches exactly with the viral video except for the message, about not voting for BJP or Modi, at the end. We found that the original video was digitally manipulated. Given that the ad was launched in 2017, there is no way it would have been politically linked to the general elections.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show a political campaign video asking people not to vote for BJP, is false.
