Many users claim that the video depicts the Indian-origin Canadian gangster being shot dead in America.
A Facebook user posted the video with a caption: #Breaking | #CCTV footage| Mastermind of Sidhu mosewala’s Murder Goldy Brar allegedly Shot dead in America.

Conducting a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team found a YouTube video on WWLTV channel, dated July 31, 2023, with a title: Shooting Caught on Camera.
Upon comparing both the viral video and the YouTube video, we found them to be similar.
According to a report by WWLTV, dated July 31, 2023, titled: “Shocking Video: 2 Women Injured in Shootout in New Orleans’ 7th Ward Sunday”, the viral video depicts the shooting incident on Industry Street in New Orleans, which resulted in injuries to two women. Additionally, the report states that an arrest was made at the scene involving a felon in possession of a firearm.

We also found a report by NDTV, dated May 2, 2024, with a title: “Goldy Brar Not the Gangster Killed in California Shootout, Say US Police.” The US Police have denied the claims that gangster Goldy Brar was killed in a shooting incident in California.
The report states that two individuals were shot in Fairmont and Holt Avenue in Fresno, California, following an altercation. Tragically, one of them succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
