Jet Airways back in airfare war business

New Delhi: Jet Airways has begun a new airfare war, slashing its business class fares to almost half.

The airline has offered a discount up to 60% on base fares in business class on more than 180 flights of less than 1,000 kms within India, according to Jet Airways.

Premiere guests on domestic routes will be able to enjoy fares starting from an all-inclusive Rs 6,999 for distances less than 750 kms and Rs 8,999 for distances between 750 kms and 1000 kms, applicable on all destinations on the airlines’ domestic network.

This offer is valid for travel on both direct and ‘via’ flights, available for travel from July 20 to October 15, 2015.

In addition, Jet Airways is offering a 20% discount on Premiere fares for destinations over 1,000 kms across the domestic network.

Guests can now plan for their holiday & leisure travel in our luxury Première with additional legroom at 40” pitch, personalised service and multi-course meal options,” Raj Sivakumar, Chief Commercial Officer said.

Recently India’s second largest low-cost airline SpiceJet announced Rs 1 airfare sale. The airline said there are more than 1 lakh one-way tickets available at Rs.1 (excluding taxes and fees). But the latest offer is available only on select domestic direct (non-stop) flights, and are only purchasable on SpiceJet’s new mobile app.
