Don’t believe this picture of PM Modi in Keffiyeh; here’s the fact check

Date:

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two day visit to Saudi Arabia, a picture has surfaced on the internet in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be seen wearing a Keffiyeh when he arrived in Riyadh.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we found it to be FAKE.

On scanning through the official Twitter handle of PMO, we found a tweet dated October 29th, 2019 when PM Modi landed in the Saudi capital Riyadh. In the original picture, PM Modi is not wearing Keffiyeh.

In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that the real picture was manipulated and Keffiyeh was added on PM Modi using photoshop software.
