Locals pelt stones at healthcare workers in Indore

Indore: The residents of a locality here pelted stones at healthcare workers who went there to conduct a medical checkup as suspected COVID-19 cases were reported in the locality.

The incident took place near Tatpatti Bakhal in Indore. A case has been registered against the unidentified people.

Moreover, 12 new coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Indore, taking the total number of cases to 75 in the city. The total number of positive cases in Madhya Pradesh stands at 99.

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India climbed to 1,965, in which there are 1,764 active cases, 151 cured have recovered, while 50 people have died.
