A message is being circulated on WhatsApp and other social media platforms with a few web links.

The message claims that under the “Corona Assistance Scheme WCHO”, the Central Government is giving Rs 1,000 to everyone and one can get access to the money only after filling the form that is available on the given link.

In fact, the Press Information Bureau (PIB), in a Facebook post, clarified that no such scheme has been launched by the government and the viral message is fake.
