Firm up ties with India to punish China for its COVID-19 atrocities: US Senator

Date:

US Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina has asked the US to firm up its ties with India, which will, in turn, help in punishing China for its atrocities committed during COVID-19 and its various manipulations.

The Senator issued an 18-point Charter to deal with the nation which has hidden information from rest of the world and caused massive economic and social upheaval in many parts of the world.

The Charter talks about immediate approval of USD 20 billion in defence funds to regional allies such as India, Taiwan and Vietnam and bringing back the manufacturing jobs to the US and setting up a domestic industry that is self-sufficient. The Senator goes on to blame China for stealing US jobs, technology and manipulating currency exchanges.

The Charter also seeks to ban the Chinese company Huawei which is expanding its 5G trials.

The US has also been asked to prevail upon the International Olympic Committee and prevent the 2022 Winter Olympics from taking place in Beijing.

Finally, the Senator wants the World Health Organization to be heavily penalised for their alleged Chinese tilt.

The US Congress is also considering the COVID-19 Accountability Bill that will empower the US President to penalise China in the form of sanctions for their acts of negligence and omissions.

This legislation has been moved by Senator Lindsay Graham and Congressmen Troy Balderson and Doug Collins.
