Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit Becomes JNU’s First Woman Vice-Chancellor

Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, who is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule University, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, according to Ministry of Education officials.

Pandit will be the first woman Vice-Chancellor of JNU.

M Jagadesh Kumar who was holding the charge of acting VC at JNU was on Friday appointed as the chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the higher education regulator in the country.
