Rajnath, Jaishankar To Visit The US Next Week For 2+2 Dialogue

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting the United States from 11-12 April 2022 for the fourth India-US 2+2 Dialogue which will take place on 11th April in Washington, DC.

“EAM Dr S Jaishankar will visit the US from 11-12 April 2022. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and EAM will lead the Indian delegation at the 4th India-US Ministerial 2+2 Dialogue which will take place on 11th April in Washington, DC,” MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.

The dialogue would enable both sides to undertake a comprehensive review of cross-cutting issues in the India-US bilateral agenda related to foreign policy, defence & security with the objective of providing strategic guidance & vision for further consolidating the relationship.

Jaishankar will hold a separate meeting with his US counterpart Secretary Antony Blinken.

EAM is also scheduled to meet senior members of the US administration to further advance the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership.
