Around nine people, including a few police personnel, were injured during clashes that erupted in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri on April 16, 2022, during the Hanuman Jayanti procession. So far, 25 people have been arrested in connection with the violence. Two juveniles have also been apprehended.
Following this, an image has surfaced on social media platforms showing some men holding swords in their hands while some people can be seen holding saffron flags in the background. It is being claimed that the visuals are from the recent ‘Shobha Yatra’ organized in Jahangirpuri, Delhi.
A Facebook user shared the image with the caption, “This is the picture of Shobha Yatra in Jahangir Puri in Delhi. Look at the faces of these youngsters and guess their age. Is their age to study and write or job, employment. But they have weapons in their hands? After all, where these hateful people want to take the future of the country is clearly visible from the picture.”
