Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in his show “Sach Insights” has listed his top XI picks from this season of IPL. Sachin adds that the list has “nothing to do with reputations or past performances, it is purely based on this season and what they have been able to achieve this season.”
Sachin goes with a left-hand, right-hand combination for the opening pair. His first pick is Shikhar Dhawan, as he has the capabilities to accelerate and Jos Butler has had an unmatching performance this season. KL Rahul goes on number three. Hardik Pandya goes on the fourth position, with his tremendous performance and has the ability to “hit sixes at will”.
Sachin further adds that David Miller will bat for his team at the fifth position as a “lefty and righty combination is crucial. Sachin further adds “Miller has shown consistency and played some crucial knocks.”
Liam Livingston makes it to number six of Sachin’s list. According to him, Livingston has the ability to get runs and hit sixes at will. He further observes that Livingston is clear in his mind and gameplan. He is also a great bowling option for the side. Dinesh Karthik is the next addition to his side as a great batter and wicketkeeper.
Sachin added Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohd Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rashid Khan as his main bowlers for the playing XI. Sachin says that Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in death overs and will be his pick in this season. Yuzvendra remains the highest wicket-taker this season and his consistency has impressed former Mumbai Indians legend.
