New Delhi: The Delhi government has transferred important portfolios like health, home, water, and industries to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia after Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was taken into custody by ED.
Delhi government in a notification said that “LG (Lieutenant Governor), in consultation with the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is pleased to allocate portfolios of health, industries, power, home, urban development, irrigation and flood control, and water to Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi.”
The notification further clarified that the new portfolios will be an addition to the portfolios that were under Deputy CM.
The Enforcement Directorate earlier this week took Health Minister Satyendar Jain into custody in connection with a money laundering case till 9th June.
