This year Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra embraced their parenthood, with the birth of their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. They had posted her first picture on the occasion of Mother’s Day on their Instagram and composed a detailed post about how they returned home after spending 100 days in NICU.
Nick shared the reason why their daughter was hospitalized, “I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital. And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone,” Nick told People.
Welcoming this daughter home in May, Priyanka had shared, “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.”
The name of their daughter embraces their mother’s names, Priyanka-Nick’s Daughter has been named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. ‘Malti’ belongs to Priyanka’s mother name Madhumalti Chopra and ‘Marie’ comes from Nick’s mother name Denise Marie Miller Jonas
