Rocketry Review: Netizens Hail R Madhavan As Nambi Narayanan; Call It a ‘Masterpiece’

Date:

R Madhavan-starrer ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ hit the big screens on July 1. Prior to its release, the movie created a tonne of hype among audiences, and now that it has arrived in theatres, the audience is astounded by it!

The story, helmed by R Madhavan, is about Padma Bhushan recipient Dr. Nambi Narayanan, a former rocket scientist of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He came into the limelight in 1994 when he was arrested under false charges of espionage. Narayanan was later given a compensation of Rs 1.3 crore by the Kerala government.

When Madhavan decided to do the film about five years ago, he contacted Nambi and they met in Thiruvananthapuram for the first time. Once, Nambi agreed to the film, the two closely interacted at every stage of the film, including the scripting. “My story left him in tears,” recalls Nambi.

While watching the movie in theatres, netizens flooded twitter with their reviews. Several of them expressed their amazement and described getting chills, while many others praised R Madhavan as an actor.
