Shaji Prabhakaran Appointed As Secretary General Of AIFF

New Delhi: Amid major developments in the All India Football Federation (AIFF), Shaji Prabhakaran was appointed as the new Secretary General on Saturday.

Delhi Football President will be part of the newly constituted executive committee under the leadership of President Kalyan Chaubey. The AIFF in a statement confirmed the appointment of Prabhakaran after a unanimous approval of the executive committee members.

According to a report by the PTI, Shaji Prabhakaran while welcoming the AIFF president said that “We need to work together, and at no time should any personal ego come as a roadblock on our endeavours to take Indian Football forward together.”

The new executive committee comprises G P Palguna, Avijit Paul, P Anilkumar, Valanka Natasha Alemao, Maloji Raje Chhatrapati, Menla Ethenpa, Mohan Lal, Arif Ali, K Neibou Sekhose, Lalnghinglova Hmar, Deepak Sharma, Vijay Bali and Syed Imtiaz Husain.
