FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be false.

Running a Reverse Image Search, we found same visuals in an article by Mirror UK, dated March 29, 2022, with a headline: “Leonardo Bonucci apologises for the state of Italy changing room with cigarette butts found”.

As per the description of the image in the report, it is the dressing room of the Italian national after they lost to North Macedonia in the World Cup play-off.

A similar report had also been published by the Daily Mail in March 2022.

Hence, it is clear that an old picture has been shared with a false claim.
