Fans in India are no different as they wait for the game to kick off at 8:30 pm (IST). One of Messi’s fans from Lakshadweep took things to the next level. A vlogger named Mohammed Swadikh placed a cutout of Lionel Messi in the Arabian Sea.

Swadikh, who is from Kavaratti Islands, shared the video of the act which has left Netizens in awe. He along with a group of his friends carried the cutout on a boat before diving deep into the sea wearing scuba diving gear.
In the video, the vlogger and his friends are seen posing with the cutout before installing it 100-feet deep into the sea. Earlier, he promised his audience that if Messi led Argentina make to the final of the World Cup, he would install the cutout deep in the ocean. Well, he kept his promise!
According to a New Indian Express report, Swadikh said that “After Argentina trounced Croatia in the semi-final, I organized a biriyani feast for my friends at mid-sea. It was at that time I announced the decision to install a cut-out in the sea.”
