Delhi Woman Murdered And Buried, Police Recovers Body From Crematorium

New Delhi: In yet another shocking incident, the Delhi Police on Thursday said they found the body of a woman, missing for 10 days, at a crematorium on Wednesday.

The woman has been identified as 54-year-old Meena who went missing at the Mangolpuri police station on January 2, said the police. Meena was a micro financer who used to give loans to ‘Rehri-Patri Hawkers’ on daily basis.

During the investigation, Mobin & Naveen (accused) were apprehended & revealed that they along with another accused Rehan murdered her, they buried her in Nangloi Graveyard on the intervening night of 2-3 January. She was constantly asking them to return previous loans. The auto used in the offence also recovered.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, as per police.

The 4 accused, including the graveyard caretaker, are arrested, Outer Delhi DCP, Harendra Kumar Singh said.

The caretaker reportedly took Rs 5,000 from them to allow them to bury the body in the graveyard.
