UPSC 2022 Civil Services Exam Results: Women Bag Top Positions; Ishita Kishore Rank 1

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the much-awaited Civil Services Examination 2022 final results on Tuesday. Women have once again shown their extraordinary ability by once again taking the top positions, with Ishita Kishore earning an excellent All India Rank (AIR) 1 and Garima Lohia and Uma Harathi N being AIR 2 and AIR 3, respectively.

Candidates can now check the results on the UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in.

In the previous year’s UPSC CSE 2021 examination, women outshined men in the top position, with Shruti Sharma claiming the All India Rank 1 and Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla being Rank 2 and Rank 3, respectively. This amazing achievement demonstrates the increasing popularity and exceptional ability of women in the field of civil service.

Applicants participated in the UPSC Civil Services Examination preliminary round on June 5, 2022. The preliminary exam results were made public shortly after, on June 22, identifying the candidates who qualified for the following stage.

After the mains examination round, which was held from September 16 to September 25, the UPSC announced the results of the main exam on December 6. On May 18, the interview process came to an end, marking the conclusion of a difficult and tough evaluation.
