New Delhi: The chewed remains of a man named Carlos Tonini were discovered within his residence in Argentina, suggesting that he may have been consumed by his 17 hungry dogs.
According to reports from local media, authorities were prompted to investigate Tonini’s well-being following complaints from the neighborhood about an intolerable situation. During their inspection, officers discovered a thigh bone inside a pair of tattered trousers on the floor. Additionally, two smaller eight-inch bones were found nearby in a T-shaped configuration.
Investigators believe that Tonini’s group of dogs consumed him after he ceased providing them with food, possibly following his death from undisclosed causes.
The man, estimated to be in his 60s, likely passed away a few days ago and was known to live alone. When questioned, his daughter, Susana Elizabeth Videla Tonini, informed the police that they had not communicated for two years following a family dispute.
Currently, an autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death, with the police noting no indications of violence.
A similar incident took place in Russia, where a nine-year-old girl was attacked by dogs. The episode was recorded, depicting the feral dogs biting her and causing severe injuries.
