The makers of ‘Shaandaar’ have released the first song from their film, titled ‘Gulaabo’ and it is undoubtedly one of the most shaandaar things one could ever imagine.
This song features Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor in a never-seen-before avatar where the duo set the stage on fire with some terrific dance moves which will leave you awestruck!
But for all those who must be thinking Gulaabo must be Alia in the song, let me clarify, Gulaabo is Shahid’s half-sister Sanah Kapur, who is making her Bollywood debut with this film. She looks chubby and bubbly throughout the song and is the best surprise package of the song.
About the song:
The song is a mix Bollywood’s dance music with some essence of hip-hop with some signature tapori styles which will definitely drool you for more. Gulaabo has quirky lyrics and is all set to take the place of the new party anthem for all the party lovers. The song shows Alia and Shahid dressed in suits, fedoras and pencil moustaches, which give an impression of a bachelorette party rather than a typical hens party with pink theme everywhere. There typical dance moves are beautifully choreographed by Bosco-Caeser.
It’s music is given by Amit Trivedi and is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani in the best possible manner. Alia did a commendable job in matching the steps with inarguably one of the best dancers of the industry, which is none other than Shahid.
Produced by Karan Johar, Shaandaar has been directed by Vikas Bahl and also features Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor and Anjana Sukhani.
The film is scheduled to release on October 22.
