Chennai: A glass door shattered at the arrival area of the Domestic airport on Sunday, officials said. The glass door on the first floor of Domestic arrival gave away and broke, airport officials said.
However, no one was injured in the incident and officials had launched an inquiry into the matter, they said.
Repeated incidents of breaking of glass panels and doors besides false ceilings had been reported at the airport since the inauguration of the Rs 2000 crore new modernised facility in January 2013.
