When you hear someone say that they’re living a dog’s life, you are often prompted to feel that it’d be a drab, sad and tiresome one. However, you might want to rethink your perceptions.
Hank is obese, thanks to a disease, so he gets wheeled into his flights. Oh wait, he flies only first class. He has an instagram account too, @hankthetank. So, what’s weird about this then?
What’s weird is the fact that Hank is not a person, he’s a dog. Of course.
Since Hank is huge, he can’t run around. Therefore, he has a special cushioned cart that ferries him everywhere, except for of course, when he’s going overseas. When he had a flight to catch with his owner Kary Whitman, an interior designer and founder of Ace of Hearts Dog Foundation, he arrived in style at the airport and got wheeled straight into the first class seat booked for him on American Airlines.
This sight took many onlookers by surprise and one passenger on board the aircraft tweeted pictures of Hank that got retweeted 42,000 times!
