Nawazuddin features in Mahindra Group’s new Seed The Rise initiative

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was born to a family of farmers in a small town in Uttar Pradesh, has taken a step ahead in order to help the farmers of our country.

Nawaz, with the help of Mahindra Group, has promoted a funding campaign to aid farmers who suffer due to weather and other circumstances adding to their mysery. The ad campaign is targeted to crowd funding in order to help the needy.

Through this new initiative, which is named as SeedTheRise project, urban people can directly help the farmers just by logging in and donating a particular amount and Mahindra Group. The company will then add the same amount to the project which will automatically double the existing amount in this initiative.

This initiative will help farmers in various ways like sustainable cultivation and alternative livelihood (Naandi Foundation), educating farmer’s daughters (Nanhi Kali) and income enhancement (Swades Foundation).
