Rajasthan govt transfers 51 IPS officers

Jaipur,(PTI): In a major rejig, Rajasthan government has transferred 51 IPS officers including the SPs of nine districts.

A total nine ADG and seven IG rank officers were transferred late last night, apart from DIGs and SPs, according to the Department of Personnel order.

Jaswant Sampatram, CMD Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation Ltd, has been made Director General Police Housing, while Alok Tripathi, Additional Director General, ATS and SOG, has been shifted to Anti Corruption Bureau as ADG.

Bhupendra Kumar Dak, ADG, Anti Corruption Bureau, has been posted as ADG police planning, modernisation and welfare.

ADG Umesh Mishra who was in CID (Human Rights) has been transferred as ADG of ATS and SOG.

SPs of Nagaur, Dungarpur, Bharatpur, Kota (rural), Alwar, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bundi and Hanumangarh have been transferred, as per the order.
